Dr. Rohit Desai with experience 26 years of teaching in Under Graduate Level and 18 years of Post Graduate Level is holding as in-charge of Hemchandracharya North Gjarat University, Sub Campus, Vadali and I/C Vice Chancellor of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. He earned his B.A. degree from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in 1992. He completed his M.A. in Economics (1994) and his Ph.D. in: consumer protection activity and its importance in North Gujarat (2005) from the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. His doctoral study was focused on the importance and limitation of consumer movement. Prior to this he has worked as In-charge (Registrar) of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. Apart from being the Principal of Arts and Commerce College, Chansma, he serves as an expert in various academic and administrative committees such as the NCC Lieutenant of NCC 7 Gujarat Battalion, Mehsana, Member of Planning Board, Member of Senate, Dean of Faculty of Commerce, Member of Academic Council, Chairman of Board of Study, Member of Board of University Teaching and Research (BUTR), Vice President Hemchandracharya Academic Union at North Gujarat University. He has also served as Head of the Department at Shri V.R. Patel College of commerce, Mehsana. He was awarded as Eminence Award Honorary (Social Worker North Gujarat) Divya Bhaskar 2022 and Indian Red Cross Society Honorary (Star Camp Organizer) Indian Red Cross Society Ahmedabad 2020. He has published 28 research papers, 22 books and edited 4 books. Attended 33 State Level Seminars/Conferences, 25 National and 4 International Conferences. He has presented papers and worked for technical sessions at conferences. At the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Sub Campus, Vadali Dr. Desai strives to bring excellence in education with his ability to communicate effectively with staff members and students. Worked as an administrator with the ability to work in a team or individually as an in-charge and during this tenure developed modern infrastructure with the installation of 350 CCTV cameras in the campus.
